Main Event Background
Grant claimed the BKB interim lightweight title with a unanimous decision over Jorge Bargallo in May 2025. His first fight against Jon Barnard ended as a no contest due to a cut, but in the April 17 rematch in Niagara Falls, NY, Barnard knocked him out to capture the title.
Now, Grant aims to climb back atop the lightweight division in this super lightweight matchup.
Guerrero, 38, from Tultepec, Mexico, stands 5-foot-11 compared to Grant's 5-foot-6, according to Tapology. He earned a second-round stoppage of Luis Morales at BKB 42 in June 2025 but lost by stoppage to Bekhzod Usmonov, whom he now replaces, at BKB 52 in March.
The fight is scheduled for five rounds lasting three minutes each. It is not promoted as a title bout.
