The German champions are preparing a new contract for the French winger that would make him the highest-paid player at the club, according to French outlet L'Équipe. That is no small statement at a club where Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala currently sit at the top of the wage ladder.
Olise’s current deal already runs until 2029. Bayern could easily have waited. They are choosing not to.
From Crystal Palace talent to Bayern centrepiece
Since arriving from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2024, the 24-year-old has torn up any notion that he might need time to adapt. He has become one of Bayern’s standout performers, a winger around whom entire game plans now revolve.
Inside Säbener Straße, they see him as a cornerstone for the next era. The club are ready to dig deep financially to keep him in Munich, even as whispers of his long-held dream of playing for Real Madrid continue to follow him. For now, that dream goes on hold. Olise is expected to remain in Germany for at least another season.

As of April 2026, Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala were Bayern’s top earners, each on around €2.1 million per month. Behind them came Manuel Neuer at €1.75m, with Joshua Kimmich and Dayot Upamecano both on roughly €1.66m.
Olise’s new deal would push him above all of them. For a 24-year-old who joined from Crystal Palace only two years ago, that is a remarkable rise – and a clear signal of where Bayern see their next superstar.
One key element remains on the negotiating table: a release clause. His current contract does not include one, but any extension is expected to. Bayern want security; Olise and his camp want flexibility. The numbers will be eye-watering, but the mechanism will almost certainly be there.
So Bayern move to tie down their most explosive winger, reshaping the pay scale and nailing their colours to a new mast.
