Manchester City Expected Lineup Against PSG: Cherki Starts, Doku on the Wing
Manchester City Set to Host PSG with Full Squad
Manchester City face Paris Saint-Germain at the Etihad Stadium in their UEFA Champions League clash on Wednesday evening. The Cityzens are fortunate to have no injury concerns ahead of the match, with only academy player Senny Mayulu unavailable.
PSG arrive with a full roster and are anticipated to field their strongest lineup. Manager Enzo Maresca is likely to stick with his winning formula after City's recent victory at Anfield.
Key Players and Tactical Setup
Rayan Cherki impressed in the win over Liverpool and is expected to maintain his position as the No.10, playing just behind striker Erling Haaland. On the left flank, former Stade Rennais winger Jérémy Doku will probably be given the starting role, adding pace and creativity to the attack.
This fixture will also mark a reunion for goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who departed PSG in summer 2025 and now represents Manchester City.
Probable Starting XI for Manchester City vs PSG
- Goalkeeper: Gianluigi Donnarumma
- Defenders: Josko Gvardiol, Ruben Dias, Marc Guehi, Matheus Nunes
- Midfielders: Enzo Fernandez, Elliot Anderson
- Forwards: Jérémy Doku, Rayan Cherki, Antoine Semenyo
- Striker: Erling Haaland
