This is her season now.

The Seattle Reign walked into their clash with the San Diego Wave as underdogs and walked out having flipped the script with a 1-0 win. It wasn’t flashy. It didn’t need to be. One goal, one clean sheet, and a major twist in the standings.
By the time the dust settled, the table told its own story. The Royals, Courage, and Wave are now locked together on 39 points, three teams sharing third place and refusing to blink. Above them, Gotham feel the pressure from a Spirit side charging hard. Below them, ambitious clubs like Denver, Boston, and Seattle are proving they have the power to bloody any nose, on any weekend.
Matchweek 20 didn’t clarify the NWSL title race. It did the opposite. It tightened it, sharpened it, and turned every remaining fixture into a test of nerve as much as talent.
With records falling and giants stumbling, the real question now is simple: who handles the chaos best when everything is still there to be won?
