Sorba Thomas Walks Away Unscathed After Car Overturns

Hull City winger Sorba Thomas escaped injury after his car overturned in a crash close to the club’s training base on Friday morning.

The 27-year-old’s grey Land Rover Defender was left on its roof with smashed windows on Millhouse Woods Lane in Cottingham, a short distance from Hull City’s training ground. Images of the wrecked vehicle quickly began to circulate on social media, sparking concern among supporters.

Humberside Police confirmed emergency services remained at the scene as investigations continued and urged the public to avoid the area while they worked.

Hull City moved swiftly to calm fears, confirming that Thomas had walked away from the crash without injury.

In a statement, the club said it was “relieved” to learn the winger was unharmed. Thomas only joined the Tigers earlier this month from Championship side Stoke City, and his early days on Humberside have now taken a dramatic turn off the pitch.

“The club is aware of images of Sorba's car circulating on social media and can reassure supporters that he has sustained no injuries and emerged from his vehicle completely unscathed,” Hull added.
