Experience Marina Bay's Night Race Magic Early with Pit Lane Access
Singapore fans will get their first taste of Marina Bay’s night-race magic a day early, with ballots now open for the Thursday Pit Lane Experience on October 8.
Up to 4,500 fans will be allowed onto the famous pit lane at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, walking directly past the Formula 1 team garages as mechanics and engineers ready the cars for the Singapore Grand Prix weekend. For many, it’s the closest they will ever stand to an F1 machine with its bodywork off and the garage in full preparation mode.
The event takes place on the Thursday before Circuit Park officially opens for the race weekend, which runs from October 9 to 11. It turns what is usually a behind-closed-doors build-up day into an open invitation to peek into the sport’s inner workings.
The evening is not just about the pit lane. Attendees can also roam the Zone 1 F1 Village, with a slate of interactive activities lined up to keep fans in the thick of the atmosphere even before a single lap is turned in anger.
Access is being decided by public ballot, open to Singapore citizens and permanent residents. No race ticket is required to throw your name in. Each successful applicant will receive a pair of tickets to the Thursday Pit Lane Experience, turning it into a shared night out under the lights.
The ballot is live now and closes on September 18 at 11.59pm Singapore time. Entries are submitted via the official website, and successful applicants will be notified separately.

The Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2026 will run from October 9 to 11 at Marina Bay, with a sprint race scheduled for October 10 before the signature Sunday night showdown on October 11. For those lucky enough to win a spot in the pit lane, the weekend’s drama will start a day earlier, with the sport’s most glamorous night race laid out right at their feet.
