Amankwah Forson Joins Hapoel Be'er Sheva on Loan
Norwich City midfielder Amankwah Forson has completed a season-long loan move to Israeli side Hapoel Be'er Sheva, stepping into a club preparing for a demanding Europa League campaign.
The 23-year-old only arrived at Carrow Road earlier in 2024, signing a four-year deal from RB Salzburg, but now heads out in search of regular minutes and a bigger stage. A Ghana international, Forson has already put together 44 appearances for the Canaries in all competitions, contributing four goals and flashes of the energy that first drew Norwich to him.
Hapoel Be'er Sheva Challenge
Hapoel Be'er Sheva offer a very different test. Six-time champions of Israel, they have forced their way into the league phase of this season’s Europa League, where heavyweight names await. Juventus. AFC Bournemouth. Besiktas. It is a group that demands personality as much as talent.
For Forson, it is a chance to grow in the glare of European nights, to turn potential into presence. For Norwich, it is a calculated step: a year away, higher stakes, and the hope that he returns sharper, tougher, and ready to shape games in the Championship or beyond.
