Santos Futebol Clube has reached a long-term agreement with Adidas to become their official kit manufacturer beginning in the 2028 season. This move ends the partnership with Umbro, who have supplied the team’s kits since 2018 and remain contracted through 2027.
Contract Details and Strategic Shift
The switch to Adidas aims to boost Santos' commercial revenue and broaden their global retail presence. The German brand confirmed the deal on Thursday, highlighting that this marks the third time Adidas will outfit the Vila Belmiro club.
“Santos Futebol Clube and adidas have reached an agreement for the supply of sporting goods starting in the 2028 season,” the statement read.
Expanding Adidas’ Presence in Brazilian Football
Adding Santos strengthens Adidas’ position in the Brasileirão, joining clubs such as Flamengo, Cruzeiro, and Internacional already sponsored by the brand. The deal covers official match kits along with lifestyle and training apparel lines.
Santos continues to hold significant global appeal, driven by its history with legends like Pelé and current stars including Neymar and Philippe Coutinho.

On the pitch, Santos sits eighth in the Serie A standings with 38 points from 27 games. Coach Cuca’s squad faces tough upcoming matches: an away game at São Paulo on October 2, then hosting Flamengo six days later, before traveling to face Atlético Mineiro on October 11.
