Birmingham gets the kind of fight card it has been waiting years for on Saturday night. Not a token women’s bout buried on the bill, but a full-blooded, three-belt unification headlining the show, with genuine star power stacked underneath.
At the top of it all: Mikaela Mayer and Chantelle Cameron, two world champions, two nations, one division to rule.
Cameron, the UK’s WBO super welterweight world champion, walks in with a record of 22-1 (8 KOs) and the kind of line on her résumé that instantly changes how people talk about you. She is the woman who handed Katie Taylor the only defeat of her professional career back in May 2023. That win still echoes around the sport.
She sharpened up again in April, outpointing Michaela Kotaskova by unanimous decision, and she has not been shy in the build-up. Cameron insists it will take “someone special” to beat her – and that Mayer, in her eyes, is not that fighter.

In the chief support, unified WBC and WBO lightweight world champion Caroline Dubois puts her belts on the line against former US Olympian Amelia Moore. Then there is Terri Harper. A three-weight world champion, she returns at super welterweight to face Miranda Reyes.
